The location was great, very good breakfast in the morning.

    The shower was quite small.

    Good location to Grafton street

We have stayed at Trinity Lodge on two occasions before this stay. The rooms we have previously had seemed to be of a much better standard even though they described this room as deluxe. The room was in the basement so was quite dark and gloomy and felt bare and sparesly furnished. The staff were not not very friendly but not rude just lacking warmth. We will probably stay at Trinity Lodge again but I would telephone ahead to ensure room location.

The location was perfect for our four night stay. We were close to all teh places we wanted to visit. The room was a good size for the four of us. The restaurant Dunne and Crescenzi opposite (not connected with the hotel) however amazing food.

All in all very good. Street noise...that is city living and not enough to be disturbing.

    Character of building, location, quiet

Bed hard, decor a little dated, bathroom functional but dated!

  • Older travelers
    7.8

Adjacent to the centre of Dublin and surrounded by a historic aura from Trinity College, Museum, Art Gallery and nice architecture. Also felt that South Frederick Street had a nice mix of good class restaurants and coffee bars.

Because we now have entered the age group of "pains and aches" - a lift to the upper floors is desirable - but maybe this is not possible in the style of building provided for accommodation. Stairs can be a bit daunting for the "knees"!!

  • Older travelers

No elevator and we were on the top floor. This fact is not very apparent when booking. The reception staff were foreign (ie not Irish) and did not appear to know anything about Dublin or it's surrounds.

    Location in Dublin

Nothing, although you need to be fit, 3 or 4 flights of stairs with a 20kg case is a bit of an effort,

Great stay in Dublin. We appreciate a lot : the location, the calm, the size of the room. From there, you can walk to various seesight and enjoy monuments and pub. Nearby Trinity College, it is a calm area... with various nice store just 2 blocks away. Ideal.

Doesn´t have an elevator. I had to carry my bags up 3 or 4 floors, using a very small stair. It´s expensive for what it is, but I guess everything in that area is.

  • Family with children

Best part is the location central to most attractions in dublin

Huge room with good facilities, fine breakfast and brilliant location.

    Location that's it!!

Well I think you are over priced first up the accommodation is out dated!! I paid for a double room 159 euro which includes breakfast and when I went for breakfast I was told that I had to pay extra for the continental breakfast which includes orange juice.. Rip off will not be singing you're praises in Oz.. You will miss out on business! Bye mt

    Great Location

Their family rooms were mixed with smoking rooms. There was a very bad odor of smoke throughout the entire night from our next door neighbors which made the night horrible.

  • Single
    6.6

    Locality and security

My hair dryer blew up, the radio did not work, the table was rickety plus no one ever said I would need to climb 67 steps to get to my room. All my other accommodation in Ireland included breakfast and where it did n't it was a mere e5 not the e10 you were asking.

    Close to everything in Dublin

When we checked out we left the keys only to get a message saying the keys were missing
