    Fabulous

A great location, central for shops, eating out and great public transport. Good size bedrooms, well equiped and very comfortable.I liked the log effect fire.

A little cold as the radiators weren't on.

Very little to like here. This is a budget hotel that claims to be four star.It is probably two star.

No elevator. paper thin walls at upper level so noise carries. Rooms are basic and not four star as promised on the web site.

    Fabulous

The city centre atmosphere, clean rooms and nutritious food gave an enjoyable and comfortable experience.

    Fabulous

Excellent location. Karla the manager was very nice and helpful. Cool old Georgian building...loved the big tall windows that open. Good shower with plenty of hot water. Beds were comfortable.

Shower didn't drain. No top sheet, had to sleep under duvet...not sure how often they wash them. There was a red long hair on the top of it when we checked in....freaked me out a bit. Otherwise room was clean. Carpet was a bit stained in the room.

    Fabulous

Very big room with two large windows. Really nice staff. Good central location near Grafton street and St stephens Green with good hotel security.

No lifts family room at the top of hotel...not ideal for children or those who have trouble with stairs or travel with heavy bags!

    Exceptional

Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Staff are helpful. Also a very good location. All in all, a pleasant experience. Would stay there again.

Had to pay €3 for wifi but that's only a minor gripe. May not suit older visitors with mobility issues since there is no elevator in the building. I believe the hotel is a listed building, so renovations to install one are not permitted.

    Fabulous

Location close to Trinity College and the highlights of Dublin is excellent. Room was a good size and in good condition. Clean. George's, the hotel restaurant, was very good for breakfast; did not try it for other meals. Fairly quite given downtown location as on a side-street. One of very few properties that worked well for three adults, with two double beds in a good-sized room.

No elevator and narrow stairs. Reception desk not open 24 hours. No athletic facilities, incorrectly described in Booked.net information.

    Good

The hotel is in a very nice street, with nice buildings and has a very central location.

    Good

Nice staff, excellent location in 5 minutes walking distance to Graffton St and Trinity College but yet not too noisy.

Interior rather basic, heating did not work very well.

    Fabulous

Location, location, location. Spacious / functional room. Suited informal business trip v's luxury break. Would consider again for similar purpose.

Little to dislike as it suited the defined purpose above.

    Fabulous

The reception staff were great, very welcoming and friendly.

  • 9.2
    Superb

Location was superb - close to lots of things, but tucked away and quiet at night.

  • 9.6
    Exceptional

Location, spacious room, friendly staff, nice breakfast downstairs at George's.

The four flights of stairs to walk up. Also there was a gap of an inch or two between carpeted living room floor and tiled bathroom floor, which we had to be careful not to trip on.

  • 6.6
    Good

The location is excellent. South Frederick Street is a quiet road within a five minute walk of Grafton Street / St Stephen's Green / Trinity College.

The hotel reception manager was very unprofessional. I also did not like being asked to pay for our stay as soon as we arrived - before we even got the keys to our room.

  • 8.8
    Superb

Convenience to the event which I was attending at Trinity College.
